Stoke will check on the fitness of Andy Wilkinson, Jermaine Pennant and Matthew Etherington ahead of the Wolves game.
Defender Wilkinson has been struggling with a groin injury and is touch and go for the Britannia Stadium clash, while Pennant and Etherington both picked up ankle injuries in last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Wigan.
Three points will take Stoke over the magical 40 points and Potters boss Tony Pulis will give the trio as long as possible to prove their fitness before naming his side.
Elsewhere, midfielder Salif Diao and striker Mamady Sidibe are both long-term absentees with knee injuries as Pulis' squad is getting down to the bare bones.
Matt Jarvis will be playing for Wolves and reports have claimed Stoke will make a move for the winger if Terry Connor's men lose their battle to stay in the Premier League.
