Martin O'Neill is set to step up his efforts to land Swansea striker Danny Graham after Frazier Campbell's move to Cardiff.

The Black cats sold striker Campbell to Cardiff for a fee thought to be around £650,000 on Monday and they look likely to add that cash to their transfer pot this month as they try to land Graham.

Sunderland are now ready to push on with their £5m offer for Graham, who is looking for a move away from Swansea and back to his native north east, he was born in Gateshead.

However, the deal could depend on Swansea's ability to prise ex Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones away from Stoke.
