Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill will be able to call on left-back Wayne Bridge for the clash with Tottenham on Saturday.

The England international missed the clash at Manchester City due to restrictions in his loan agreement but he is available to return against Spurs.

Kieran Richardson is available after a calf injury, he returned last week but was an unused substitute but central defender John O'Shea (calf) is likely to be out and midfielder Lee Cattermole has an ongoing knee problem and faces a late check.

Frazier Richardson pulled out of training on Tuesday with a slight knock so he will be given a late test to see if he can play.
