Diouf pens Cats deal

SunderlandSunderland have completed the signing of El-Hadji Diouf from Bolton after the player penned a four-year deal.

The Black Cats agreed a fee with Bolton, thought to be in the region of £2.5million, over the weekend and the player quickly agreed personal terms and passed a medical.

The 27-year-old becomes Sunderland's fifth summer signing and Black Cats boss Roy Keane is delighted to have him on board.

"El-Hadji is a great signing for us and we're thrilled to get him in," Keane told the club's website.

"He has bags of Premier League and international experience which is exactly what we've been targeting this summer."
