Sunderland boss Roy Keane is being linked with a move for Seville midfielder Renato, who could be on the move in January.
The Brazilian-born midfielder has recently expressed a desire to stay in Spain with Seville but according to reports that will not stop Black Cats boss Keane from making an approach when the the transfer window opens.
Press reports in Spain say the 29-year-old could be on his way to the Premiership in January and Sunderland are leading the race for the player's signature.
Keane has been told there will be more cash to spend in January and Renato, who has 29 caps for Brazil, is said to be on his list of targets.
