Keane hits out at transfer disgrace

SunderlandSunderland boss Roy Keane has labelled Stoke City a 'disgrace' after they pulled out of a deal for Marton Fulop.

The Potters agreed a fee with Sunderland for the Hungarian goalkeeper but could not agree personal terms with the player and immediately pulled the plug on the deal.

Stoke have since signed former Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen on a free transfer and Keane is fuming with the way the player has been messed about.

"They took him for a trial, made him an offer and he asked for a bit more - but they said that's it," Keane told The Sun. "It's a bloody disgrace to treat a player like that."
