Sunderland youngster Billy Knott has been sent out on loan again, this time to League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.
Knott, who arrived from Chelsea in 2010 on a free transfer, has previously enjoyed successful spells at AFC Wimbledon and Woking, but now heads to Adams Park to further his development.
Sunderland coach Kevin Ball believes the switch will help the highly-rated youngster in his bid to eventually force his way into the Black Cats first-team.
Ball told the club's website: "I think it's good for him to get a challenge in league football. There are parts of Billy's game that are outstanding, there are parts that Billy knows if he can get better then he'll give himself even more chance of playing regular league football.
"It's a good opportunity for him."
