Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness ahead of the clash at Fulham this weekend.
Fletcher has started every Premier League game since his £12m move from Wolves in August but he picked up a calf problem at Everton last weekend and is now a doubt, Louis Saha is ready to step up to the plate if called upon.
Defender Titus Bramble hopes he is over his hip injury as he looks to win his place back in the side. He was back in the squad for last weekend's defeat at Everton and will hope to feature at Craven Cottage.
Keeper Keiren Westwood is a doubt to face Martin Jol's side due to a thigh injury, he was a late withdrawal from the Republic of Ireland side which lost at home to Greece on Wednesday night and he will now undergo tests to see the extent of the the problem.
If the 28-year-old fails to shake off the problem, boss Martin O'Neill will turn to England Under-19 stopper Jordan Pickford as back-up to first-choice keeper Simon Mignolet.
