Bartley back for Swans

Swansea have been boosted by the news Kyle Bartley has returned to full training and is closing in on a return to action.

The 21-year-old, who only arrived from Arsenal in the summer, picked up a thigh injury in training back in September and has made just one appearance for the Swans.

That came in the Capital One Cup victory over Barnsley and it is hoped he will soon be back knocking on the first-team door sooner rather than later after he joined in with the rest of the first-team squad.

This weekend's home game with Liverpool will come too soon but it should not be long before he is available.

It is not all good news though, as young Swans defender Darnel Situ has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a ruptured Achilles he picked up playing for the Under-21s against Cardiff in midweek.
