Swansea could be facing a battle to keep hold of Michael Laudrup following fresh reports Benfica are lining up a move.
Laudrup says he has turned down a number of opportunities to leave the Liberty Stadium already as he is fully committed to the Swansea cause but that has not stopped speculation suggesting he could be on the move.
Benfica coach Jorge Jesus is said to be under pressure following a disappointing start to the season which has seen Benfica pick up four points from their opening games.
Reports in Portugal say Benfica will act quickly if results do not improve and both Laudrup and former Brighton boss Gus Poyet have been mentioned as possible replacements.
Laudrup is keen to at least see out this season, which sees Swansea embark on their first jaunt into Europe, but he would no doubt be interested if a club with the size and history of Benfica made an approach.
