Swansea boss Michael Laudrup looks set to recall Garry Monk and Kyle Bartley for tonight's Capital One Cup clash with Middlesbrough.

The Dane will be forced into making one change as Ashley Williams is suspended for the quarter-final clash, while he may also decide to rest Chico Flores ahead of the busy festive period.

Monk has always done well when slotting into the defence and Laudrup will have no qualms about putting him in, while Bartley is now over his thigh injury and could figure.

Leon Britton could return in midfield after a knee injury kept him out of the Norwich game at the weekend, but Pablo Hernandez is still struggling with a thigh injury and is likely to be rested.
