Arsenal are facing a battle to land Swansea defender Ashley Williams as reports claim they are reluctant to pay £10million.
The Gunners have been chasing the Wales international for some time but they have so far failed to agree a deal with the Swans, and the transfer fee involved appears to be the sticking point.
Swansea accept there is a good chance Williams will leave the Liberty Stadium this summer but he will only go on their terms and at the moment they will not settle for a penny less than £10million.
The 28-year-old is also on the wanted list of Liverpool, while Merseyside rivals Everton have also been linked as Roberto Martinez lines up a replacement for Phil Jagielka, who is a target for Manchester United.
With so much interest in Williams, Swansea will be confident of getting the full £10million and Wenger will have to go the extra mile to wrap up a deal for the player.
