Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins says the club is working hard to improve the squad and has lodged a number of bids for certain players.
The Swans have been slow to get going on the transfer front this season and have so far only completed the signing of Jose Canas on a free transfer from Real Betis.
The lack of activity in the transfer market has partly been down to Jenkins' falling out with manager Michael Laudrup's agent Bayram Tutumulu, who has previously played a big role in player recruitment.
The Swans chairman has now moved to reassure fans they are busy working behind the scenes on strengthening the squad, with the Welsh club linked with moves for Birmingham winger Nathan Redmond and Standard Liege forward Michy Batshuayi this week.
While Jenkins refused to name any specific targets he did state that Swansea are active in trying to bring in Laudrup's targets.
"We are working day and night and there is a lot going on behind the scenes," Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post.
"There are a lot of options and a lot of discussions have taken place.
"We have talked to many clubs, and in some cases we have put certain bids in for certain players.
"But some clubs prefer to wait to see what other offers come in.
"If you get as far as the dealing with the player or the agents, they are happy to sit and wait in some cases too."
