Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers says he is full of pride after seeing his side not only beat Manchester City but dominate the game.
The Swans put a severe dent in City's title aspirations with a 1-0 win at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday and Rodgers was understandably delighted with the display of his team.
Swansea had already beaten Arsenal 3-2 this season but Rodgers says the City win surpasses that and he also thinks you would be hard pressed to find a better result in the club's history.
City have spent millions trying to assemble a team capable of winning the Premier League but Swansea were the better side on the day and fully deserved the win.
"I think there's obviously been some wonderful results over the many years here at this great club," Rodgers told the media after the game.
"Certainly it was a terrific performance. Whenever you take on a team like Manchester City with the resources and the project that they're in, then to actually dominate the game like that, it fills me with great pride.
"We've got a great result and this is certainly our best performance and result of the season."
