Brendan Rodgers says he hopes to have a fully fit Steven Caulker in his Swansea side for the clash with Wolves.

Caulker played in the 1-1 draw with Bolton at the weekend despite struggling with a virus but you would never have guessed he was not 100 percent as he put in assured display at the back alongside Ashley Williams.

Rodgers had nothing but praise for the Tottenham star but hopes he will be back to full fitness for the clash against Terry Connor's relegated side this weekend.

"How he got through the Bolton game I don't know, because he had been up all night," Rodgers revealed. "He had flu, so for him to be out on the field was incredible.

"He is going to be a top player and performances like that show why."

Swansea will also check on the fitness of Nathan Dyer who was taken off in the first half at the Reebok Stadium as a precaution.
