Swansea look set to be without skipper Ashley Williams and winger Pablo Hernandez for Sunday's game with Southampton.
Wales international Williams is still struggling with an ankle problem and will miss the fourth game in succession having last played for the Swans in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Williams' absence means Jordi Amat and Chico Flores will partner one another at the heart of the defence.
Elsewhere, Hernandez looks unlikely to make the trip to St Mary's as he tries to overcome a hamstring strain, while Angel Rangel could also miss out as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
Manager Michael Laudrup is likely to make changes for the game at Southampton following Thursday's win over St Gallen in the Europa League, although Michu is set to feature again despite picking up a head injury in midweek.
