Michael Laudrup's men travel to Tottenham a week later before visiting West Brom on August 31.
A tricky September sees matches against Liverpool (H), newcomers Crystal Palace (A) and Arsenal (H).
The Swans tackle Welsh rivals Cardiff for the first time away on November 2 with the home game pencilled in for February 8.
Chelsea (A) provide the opposition on Boxing Day, while January could not be much tougher as Manchester City visit on Boxing Day, an away game at Manchester United follows and then Tottenham visit on the 18th.
The season closes with a home game against Southampton on May 3 and trip to Sunderland on May 11.
