Swansea will step up their interest in Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones after Danny Graham completed his move to Sunderland.

Graham has penned a three-and-a-half year deal with the Black Cats and Swansea will use the £5million raised to fund a swoop for Jones, who is Michael Laudrup's top transfer target.

A host of clubs including Reading and Norwich were keen on Graham, who also turned down the opportunity to return to his home town club Middlesbrough, before signing for Sunderland.
