Swansea keeper David Cornell has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2013.

The 18-year-old is a product of the club's youth system and he made his first team debut in the Carling Cup against Scunthorpe earlier in the present campaign.

"It's brilliant. I'm just happy to sign for the club I love and stay here for another three-and-a-half years," Cornell told the club's official website."
