Andy Murray believes his serve is key to his chances at Wimbledon after beating Ernests Gulbis to reach the third round at SW19.
The British number one was in commanding form throughout the match and came through in straight sets against an opponent who has a powerful game but lacks consistency.
The 22-year-old made only five unforced errors in the match and made 73% of his first serves as he ran out a 6-2 7-5 6-3 in the evening sunshine in south west London.
Roared on by a vociferous partisan crowd, Murray dominated from the back of the court and picked off winners at will, while pressuring the Latvian's serve with regularity.
He took just one hour and 28 minutes to wrap up the match and will play either Viktor Troicki or Daniel Gimeno-Traver in the third round.
The Scot was delighted with his performance and feels that if he can continue to serve as well as he did on Thursday, he will not be far away when they hand out the trophy on the final Sunday.
"I served really great. I didn't give him many opportunities at all," he said. "I served a lot better than the first match. I had a few nerves and tension in the first match but today I was a bit more relaxed and it was good.
"I was very happy with the way I played. If I serve like that for the rest of the tournament I'll have a good chance."
