Brian McGlinchey will not be at Plainmoor for the crucial game against Boston and will say goodbye to the fans next season.

The defender is calling it a day after under going a second back operation and it was hoped he would be at the game tomorrow to say a final farewell to the club.

"I'm just trying to get the paperwork of my contract sorted out, and then I'm planning to go into a new career in financial services," he revealed. "I'm still in a bit of pain, but I'm doing some swimming in the mornings and that's good for my back.

"It would have been nice to come up and say goodbye this season, but I will definitely make it up to Plainmoor next season."
