Torquay are set to be without Elliot Benyon at Dagenham after his loan spell from Southend came to an end.

Gulls boss Alan Knill has regularly started the striker since taking charge at Plainmoor, and will be keen to arrange a loan extension, but the 3-1 home defeat to Oxford was the final match of his initial one-month stay.

Knill revealed on-loan midfielder Joss Labadie's substitution on Saturday was due to cramp, not an injury to the Notts County man, and he is set to start his second game for the club.

Craig Easton is their only absentee with a calf injury while Lloyd Macklin and Danny Stevens are both hoping to be given the nod after coming on in the second half on Saturday.

That loss to the U's was their eighth in nine npower League Two games and they now sit just two points above the relegation zone.
