Torquay have snapped up Leicester midfielder Jak McCourt on an initial one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old is a welcome addition to Alan Knill's injury-hit ranks, with Ben Harding one of those sidelined for three weeks due to a foot injury.
McCourt has graduated through the Academy ranks at Leicester and, despite not yet making his Foxes first-team debut, is a regular for the club's Under-21 Development side.
He is expected to be in contention to make his Gulls bow in Saturday's League Two clash at Wycombe.
