Spurs may be prepared to sell either Luka Modric or Gareth Bale if they fail to qualify for the Champions League according to reports.
Despite spending the past two seasons fighting off big money moves for his star duo, chairman Daniel Levy is apparently preparing for life without one of them if they fail in the quest for a top four spot.
Chelsea were ready to hand over £40m for Modric last season and Manchester United are also very keen whilst Barcelona and Real Madrid would fight it out for flying winger Bale.
Harry Redknapp would be very reluctant to lose either but he may no longer be in charge come next season if, as expected, he is offered the England post in the summer.
Spurs take a rest from Champions League worries this weekend as they concentrate on Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.
