Gareth Bale says he is confident Tottenham can finish the season off in style and qualify for the Champions League.

Tottenham occupy the final Champions League place sitting four points ahead of Arsenal and Bale believes they are in a stronger position to hold off their arch rivals this time around.

In the last two seasons Spurs have faltered when in a strong position to miss out on Europe's elite competition but Bale is confident that will not happen this time around.

"In recent years we have kind of gone off the boil a little at this time of the season but I think the lads have got a lot more confidence," Bale admitted.

"We have learned from our mistakes from previous years and now we can be a lot stronger going in to the finishing end of the season so I hope we can do it."
