Blues ready for Spurs swoop

Birmingham are poised to make another loan move for Tottenham's Kevin-Prince Boateng after David Sullivan hinted at a swoop.

Boateng has been told that he does not have a future at White Hart Lane after showdown talks with Juande Ramos and a number of clubs have expressed an interest.

The Blues are one of those clubs and want to wrap up a loan deal with a view to a permanent deal next summer.

"Another club were about to buy him for a pile of money, but then changed their mind," Sullivan said in the Birmingham Mail.

That could open the door for a loan move and Birmingham are ready to try their luck once again.
