Christian Eriksen has said that Tottenham were the only club to show a real interest in him during this summer's transfer window.
After months of speculation regarding his future, Eriksen finally left Ajax to join Spurs as he looks to help the club progress and qualify for the Champions League this season.
Andre Villas-Boas has added Eriksen to his squad along with a number of top players from Europe including Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela. The Dane may have to wait for his chance in the starting eleven, but he is contention to face Norwich, and you can bet on Spurs to win using your free bet.
At 21-years of age, Eriksen has plenty of years ahead of him and he firmly believes he made the right choice in coming to the Premier League with Spurs.
Eriksen told Danish newspaper BT: "There were not that many clubs to choose from in the end and no-one were closer than Tottenham.
"There were a lot of rumours, but I only felt right about the approach from Tottenham. The club followed me for a long time and really showed intent.
"It was the whole package that attracted me. I spoke briefly with the manager and my impression is that he is a very good manager. The goal is to challenge for the title. That is what the club wants and that is what I want."
