Everton are being linked with a January swoop for Tottenham defender Alan Hutton, who is keen to leave White Hart Lane.
Hutton has struggled to make an impact with Spurs since arriving from Rangers in January 2008 and the player is keen to move on in search of first-team football.
The 24-year-old is now open to offers and Everton boss David Moyes could hand him the chance to get his career back at Goodison Park if a fee can be agreed.
Tottenham will be hoping to recoup as much cash as possible but cannot expect to get anywhere near the £9million they paid for the Scotland international right-back.
