Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has insisted the club's recent form is not down to him being linked with the England job.
Since Fabio Capello quit England at the beginning of February Spurs have only won once in the Premier League and have gone from title contenders to being concerned about a Champions league place.
Redknapp though dismisses the link to England though and says it is just because Spurs have had a run of extremely difficult matches in the Premier League.
"Tough games, tough games," he said. "Arsenal away, Man United at home, Everton away, three very, very tough fixtures. In all honesty you'd probably have taken three points from those games.
"We got none."
Things do not get any easier this weekend for Spurs who travel to fifth place Chelsea on Saturday lunchtime.
