Heads set to roll at Spurs

TottenhamJuande Ramos has been told his job at Tottenham is safe but sporting director Damien Comolli could be axed, according to reports.

Spurs officials are alarmed following the club's worst start to a season since 1912 that sees them sitting at the foot of the Premiership, and it looks as though heads are about to roll at White Hart Lane in an attempt to put things right.

Ramos is no doubt under pressure but reports claim he has been given a vote of confidence by chairman Daniel Levy and it is Comolli that could be about to pay the price.

An emergency board meeting was held on Monday when Ramos was told by the board that his job along with that of his assistant Gus Poyet are not under threat.

The same cannot be said of Comolli though and the sporting director could be the one who is ousted from his position at the club.
