Tottenham have been handed a boost on the injury front with the news that midfielder Scott Parker has made a return to training.
The 32-year-old was outstanding for the side last season but has not featured at all this season after picking up an Achilles injury whilst playing for England against Italy at Euro 2012 last summer.
He has now returned to training, albeit to light duties, and there is a real hope he will feature in the not-too-distant future.
"Scott's having his first training sessions and we're now looking to build up his fitness levels," boss Andre Villas-Boas told the club's official website.
"Not only that, it's important for a player who has been out to get a feel for his team-mates again, to stop training individually and get together with the group.
"We'll build-up his fitness and then we can look at the options for him."
