Modric reveals injury fears

Luka Modric admits he is struggling with a knee injury that is preventing him producing his best form for Tottenham.

The Croatia interntaional arrived at White Hart Lane with a huge reputation in the summer but he has so far failed to live up to expectations as Spurs have got off to a shocking start.

The 23-year-old admits he needs to raise his game quickly if Spurs are to start climbing the table but says a niggling knee injury that is refusing to go away is not helping matters.

"I am not satisfied with my performances at Tottenham. I have to do better and I can do better," said Modric. "The problem has been a knee problem - its been causing me pain."
