Roman Pavlychenko will wait to speak to Tottenham before deciding where his future lies but he will not return to Spartak Moscow.
The 27-year-old Russian international striker is being tipped to be offloaded this summer with his former club Spartak among the interested parties.
However, Pavlychenko's agent Oleg Artemov insists he will not return to play in his homeland, while the likes of Spanish outfit Villarreal, German side Stuttgart, Italian outfit Roma and Besiktas of Turkey are also waiting on developments.
Artemov told Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta: "Roman will not return to Spartak.
"Whatever the rumour, he has tasted European football and only wants to play in on of the major leagues."
Meanwhile, Pavlychenko insists he will only make a decision on where he will be plying his trade next season once he has spoken to Spurs.
He said: "I am flying back to London on July 7 because Tottenham's first training session after the vacations is a day later.
"As for the rumours about my future, there are so many that I stopped paying attention to them.
"I need to return to London and maybe then I will understand what my situation is."
