Tottenham are in the hunt to sign Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck but David Moyes says the player is not for sale.
The England striker was linked with a move away from Old Trafford prior to United's miserable 2-0 defeat at Everton due to a lack of first-team opportunities, and Spurs are known to be in the hunt.
Tottenham have at least one new striker on their wanted list this summer and Welbeck is the kind of player Daniel Levy will be look to bring in when the window re-opens.
A squad revamp is on the cards at Old Trafford this summer but Moyes insists he does not want Welbeck to leave. There would be no shortage of interest in Welbeck should the striker become available, and Newcastle are also said to be in the hunt.
"Danny Welbeck is really important to me, to Manchester United, and I really value him," said Moyes when quizzed about Welbeck's future.
The 23-year-old has two years remaining on his current contract so United would want big money should Moyes grant the striker his wish of a move away.
