AS Roma star Mirko Vucinic will not be heading to Tottenham this summer after the Italians ruled out a move.
Tottenham have been strongly linked with a move for the forward who bagged 11 goals last season but the player is happy at the Stadio Olimpico, while Roma do not want to sell.
The 25-year-old has only just penned a new deal with Roma and it looks as though Harry Redknapp will have to look elsewhere as he attempts to bolster his squad.
"There are interests, especially from Premier League clubs, but no-one has officially contacted me," Vucinic's agent Alessandro Lucci revealed.
"Mirko is very happy to remain at Roma. He recently renewed his contract. He is happy, the club is satisfied and hence, there are no reasons to consider Vucinic away from Roma.
"The club has never told me anything regarding any offers, but they did tell me they want to keep all the important players and Vucinic is one of them."
As soon as Harry Redknapp makes his first signing for the club we will send out mobile alerts on our new sms service.
