Michael Dawson is expecting Tottenham to bounce back from defeat by Newcastle when they travel to face Manchester City on Sunday.
The north Londoners go into the game - Dawson's 300th appearance for the side - off the back of a defeat at home to Alan Pardew's men and he feels it is vital they hit back against title-chasers City.
It will not be an easy task though as City themselves will be looking for a response after their shock defeat to Sunderland last time out, but the Tottenham skipper is confident and looking forward to his milestone game.
"We had the disappointment (of losing) against Arsenal and West Ham and we came back and put it right," said Dawson, who moved on to 299 appearances for Andre Villas-Boas's men against the Magpies.
"We've had some great results after those defeats.
"We've tried not to dwell on the Newcastle defeat and we'll come back again. That's the spirit we have at the club."
