Tottenham are back in the hunt for Sevilla winger Diego Capel, who has refused to rule out a move to the Premiership.
The diminutive 20-year-old is rated as one of the best left-sided attackers in Spain and reports claim his promise has alerted at least two clubs in the Premier League.
Tottenham have long been linked with a move for the player, while Manchester City are now also believed to be keen should the winger become available.
Sevilla would fight to hang on to Capel but a bid of £13m could be enough to tempt the Andalucians into business and Harry Redknapp should have the funds to pursue a deal.
Capel's ability on the left flank would give Spurs tremendous balance if they can tempt the long-haired flyer to England, with the player himself claiming he would "study the details" despite being happy in Spain.
Redknapp is on the look out for a new left winger and is also keen on Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing.
