Tottenham are still in the hunt to sign Arjen Robben but will face stiff competition from Manchester City.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is still keen to raid the Bernabeu and as well as Robben, is also keen on Dutch midfielders Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart along with Argentina left-back Gabriel Heinze.
Real are also keen to do business after splashing out on Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka and it looks as though Robben and some of his Madrid team-mates could be heading to the Premiership.
Spurs are locked in negotiations with Real officials over a deal for Robben but money-bags Manchester City are also keen and that could scupper Redknapp's bid to land him.
