Spurs linked with Juve duo

Tottenham are being linked with Juventus duo Fabio Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic as doubts surround the future of Jermain Defoe.

Spurs boss Tim Sherwood already has three strikers on his books in the form of Roberto Soldado, Emmanuel Adebayor and Defoe but reports claim the latter is set to join Toronto in the MLS.

That would leave room for a new striker and reports in Italy claim Spurs are looking to sign either Quagliarella and Vucinic before the transfer window closes.

Both players have struggled for regular action this season and Juve are ready to let them leave on loan with a view to a permanent move, something that would appeal to Tottenham.
