Spurs have been linked with a move for Michel Bastos after Lyon admitted the Brazilian could be sold in January.
Bastos, who can operate as either a left-winger or a full-back, has been in fine form this season for Lyon, who are level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted Bastos could be sold in January to ease the club's wage bill.
It is thought a fee of around 17million Euro will be enough to secure the Brazil international in the January transfer window, although Spurs will reportedly face competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Newcastle.
