Tottenham are reported to be lining up a big-money swoop for AC Milan star Stephan El Shaarawy in the January transfer window.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas went on a mammoth spending spree throughout the summer but he still has money left from the sale of Gareth Bale and will use some of it to bid for El Shaarawy.
The Italian international is not a regular starter at the San Siro and could be looking for a move away in January, with Tottenham among the clubs showing an interest.
It will take a fee in the region of £20million to secure the services of the 20-year-old forward, who is currently behind Mario Balotelli in the pecking order at Milan.
