Andrei Arshavin's agent has admitted that the Russian star would be interested in a move to Tottenham from Zenit St Petersburg. Barcelona have had a bid of £12m turned down whilst the Russian champions reported that Spurs had made an enquiry about Arshavin, although the north London outfit has neither denied or confirmed the rumour.
Arshavin's agent Dennis Latcher has now suggested that the player could be interested in a move to White Hart Lane if the club can match his £100,000-a-week wage demands.
"Let us see what happens in the future. It may need English clubs to sell some players first," said Latcher.
