Tottenham will be hoping to have Emmanuel Adebayor back in their starting line up when they face Chelsea on Saturday.

The striker, on a season long loan from Manchester City, missed the midweek draw with Stoke with a hamstring injury and faces a test on the problem prior to the clash at Stamford Bridge.

Ledley King played against Stoke so that automatically makes him a doubt for the Chelsea clash as his on going knee problems normally prevent him from playing twice in three days.

Winger Aaron Lennon has another hamstring injury and he too faces a late test but he remains a doubt but William Gallas is fit.

Defender Michael Dawson (ankle), goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes (knee), and midfielder Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are out.

After a run of four matches without a win Spurs have dropped to fourth in the Premier League a point behind Arsenal in third and five ahead of Chelsea in fifth.
