Reports in Germany claim that Tim Sherwood's target Josip Drmic is close to agreeing a deal to join Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.

Spurs, as well as north London rivals Arsenal, have been monitoring the 21-year-old Nurnberg star after he scored 16 goals so far this season and set up a further three in 31 appearances.

The five-time German international could be on the move if Nurnberg succumb to relegation but the Swiss international, who is also wanted Borussia Monchengladbach, is set for a bargain £3.7m move to Leverkusen.
