The agent of Porto striker Jackson Martinez had denied rumours of a move to Spurs and says he is happy in Portugal.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas was linked with a raid on his former club for the Colombia hitman, who is valued in the region of £25million.
The Portuguese is keen to bolster his forward line this summer and has already been linked with Leandro Damiao, Christian Benteke, David Villa and Christian Benitez.
When quizzed on the rumours linking Martinez with White Hart Lane, his agent, Luis Manso, was swift to dismiss them out of hand.
He insists his client is happy in Porto and has taken a swipe at the British media for circulating the rumours.
"Jackson Martinez has always said he wants to stay at FC Porto and he does not have to leave," he told Radio Renaiscenca. "He is happy and his family too so I do not see the intention of the club to sell.
"It seems strange that the English press push the issue, there really is just Porto. We have not spoken to anyone and we are not interested in any negotiations. That's the truth."
