Roma striker Osvaldo will snub a move to Tottenham in favour of staying in Italy with Fiorentina, reports have claimed.
The 27-year-old is tipped to move on in the summer following a number of rows with Roma officials, team-mates and fans, and Spurs have been leading the chase for his signature.
Some reports had claimed that talks had even taken place between the two parties but now it has emerged the striker would prefer to stay in Serie A with Fiorentina.
Andre Villas-Boas is known to be on the look out for a new striker but will have to turn his attentions elsewhere if Osvaldo turns his back on a move to the Premier League.
