Spurs' hopes of landing Jackson Martinez appear to be waning as the striker has made it clear he does not want to leave Porto.
The Colombian has also been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Liverpool, as well as Napoli and Borussia Dortmund, but it is looking increasingly likely that he will stay where he is.
Although he has yet to agree a new contract with Porto, and his agent has not ruled out a move, the player himself says he is happy where he is and does not want to leave Portugal.
He told Radio Renascenca: "I am happy to be here at a club like this.
"I am enjoying the opportunity to play here, I want to repeat what happened last season and win more trophies with Porto."
