Striker Emmanuel Adebayor has not recovered from his hamstring injury and will not play in the Europa League clash at Panathinaikos.

Tottenham have travelled to Greece without number one keeper Brad Friedel so summer signing Hugo Lloris is set to stake his claim with Carlo Cudicini on the bench.

Jake Livermore (groin), Younes Kaboul (knee), Kyle Naughton (foot), Scott Parker (Achilles) and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) are all out and boss Andre Villas-Boas is likely to make a host of changes to his side.
