Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has told Spurs they can buy Emmanuel Adebayor in the summer but there are others after him.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will have the first opportunity to land the striker when the season closes but if they do not come up with the right offer then he will be sold elsewhere.

Spurs would like to buy him but his wages are a problem and unless they can come to an agreement with City it may be that he moves elsewhere.

Mancini said: "Adebayor is playing well and I am happy for him. He's a good guy and a good player and I am happy.

"If at the end of the season he wants to stay at Tottenham they will buy him, or another team will. There are a lot of teams that want Manu."
