Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend insists the club can now challenge along with Arsenal after their summer spending.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has so far spent over £100million on strengthening his side in a bid to push them above Arsenal in the table this season. The two sides meet at the Emirates on Sunday and Villas-Boas will be hoping the likes of Roberto Soldado, Paulinho and Erik Lamela can make an impact.
A win for Spurs will be a huge boost psychologically for the rest of the season as they look to secure Champions League football, which you can back using your free bet.
Townsend believes that the arrival of their new players will give the club a huge boost and an advantage over Arsenal if they can gel.
He told The Sun: "It's an advantage we've bought players in before the season started. We've been able to get used to each other and gel as a team.
"But let's not kid anyone, Arsenal have some great young players and a top manager in Wenger."
